Introduction And Foundation Of Nursing College

Welcome to JIIU’S MOTHER HAWWA College of Nursing, WARUDI TQ-BADNAPUR DIST-JALNA. Our college was established in the year 2017.

Mother Hawwa College of Nursing is duly approved by the Maharashtra Nursing Council vide by its order no. MNC/G/Bal.619/B.Sc.-111/27858/2017 dated – 02/11/2017. The Indian Nursing Council recognizes Mother Hawwa College of Nursing vide by its order no.02/Apr2017-INC, dated 27/04/2017. The College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.

JIIU’s, Motherhawwa college of nursing , believes in systematically organized teaching best clinical training , research and evidence based patient care in Modern Medical & nursing sciences. The philosophy of the basic B.sc Nursing is incorporated by JIIU’s Motherhawwa college of nursing at part of INC & MUHS. Indian Nursing council & MUHS believes that, Health is a state of well –being that enables a person to lead a psychologically , socially and economically productive life. Health is right of all the people, individual, families and communities have a responsibility towards maintaining their health. Nursing contributes to the health services in vital and significant way in the health care delivery system. It recognizes national health goals and is committed to participate in the implementation of National Health policies and program. It aims at identifying health need of the people planning and providing quality care in collaboration with other health professional and community groups. Scope of nursing practice encompasses provision of promotive , preventive , curative and rehabilitative aspect of care to people across their life span in wide variety of the health care settings. Practice of nursing is based upon application of basic concepts and principle derive from the physical , biological , behavioural science, medicine and nursing.

Nursing is based on value of caring and aims to help individual to attain independence in self care. it necessitates development of compassion and understanding of human behaviour among its practitioner to provide care with respect and dignity and protect the right of individuals and groups. Undergraduate nursing programme is brought base education within a academic frame work, specially directed to the development of critical thinking skill, competency and standard required for practice for professional nursing and midwifery as in base in national health policy 2002. The teachers have the responsibility to be role model and create learning environment that enable students to acquire enquiry driven , self directed learning and foster and attitude of life long learning. Undergraduate nursing education programme prepare its graduate to become exemplary citizen by adhering to code of ethic and professional conduct at all time in fulfilling personally, social and professional obligations so as to response national aspirations.

Dept. of Child Health Nursing

Child Health Nursing, is a specialty that focuses on nursing care of normal and sick children. The Department offers Quality Education for UG students.



Community Health Nursing Department

The department is well established with one professors, one Assoc Professors, one Asst Professors and 4 CI/ Asst Lecturers.



Medical-Surgical Nursing Department

The department is well established as per the INC norms. The department has its own laboratory and have 450 bedded parental hospital(Noor Hospital)



Department of Nursing Foundation

Our College Nursing Foundation Lab is aimed at helping the students to acquire knowledge and skills in techniques of nursing and practice of nursing procedures under supervised settings.



Department Of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing

The department of Obstetrics and gynecological nursing is well established as per INC and MUHS norms, in terms of infrastructure and teaching faculty.



Psychiatric Nursing

Psychiatric nursing is a specialized nursing response to people experiencing problems between cognitive, behavioral or emotional functioning.

About Aurangabad:
